I hear a whisper on the morrow it goes like this: Spring is near! Spring is near! I see blossoms, opaque like falling tears On the trees! On the trees! I hear birdsong high in the light, bright morning sky chirp a chorus Spring is near! Spring is near! Lemon daffodils nudge through cold earth
